SD card not read

Galaxy grand prime used to read my SD card now it's saying it's not inserted when it clearly is. Trying to move pix to free up phone space. How can I fix this?

Have you tried removing and reinserting the card? Also, if the card is removed and reinserted often (prior to this) it could have damaged the card or the port.
