SD card removed. Insert a new one...

I've started receiving messages 'SD card removed. Please insert a new one.', 'Blank SD card inserted. Please reformat.', and 'SD Card not readable'

The SD card has not been removed and is not blank. I can run Apps stored on the card and all pictures are there so it is readable.

Thoughts?

Your SD card slot may be failing, or possible the card. Test with another card, see if it works better.
