Be aware that the Geforce 940mx is not very powerful; click the link below for some benchmarks.

The 940mx has been replaced by the nVidia mx150 GPU which is somewhere in between the GTX 950m and GTX 960m. Still not a powerful GPU, but it is better than the 940mx. I suppose it all depends on how much money you are willing to spend on a laptop.
In the US, the following $550 Acer laptop is the least expensive laptop with the mx150 GPU.

That video card is enough to run GTA V at playable settings. Should be able to handle it pretty well at medium settings.
