hi ng

I´m trying to build up my own studio at home. to get in contact with
custumers all over the country I need an audio codec. all I can find on the
web are codecs by "mayah" which cost at least 4000 euros. ain´t there any
alternatives?

Maybe anybody knows

Thanx

Are you looking for ISDN boxes here?
If so, try a broadcast supply house. In the US, outfits like Harris-Allied
Broadcast supply carry a wide range of ISDN interfaces from companies like
Comrex and Gentner.

Or BSW. The Telos Zephyr is pretty much the industry standard, but none of
the brands are cheap. The "TieLine" also gets good reviews. Also see the
"Netstar 500" which does IP or ISDN. We're using one of those at KEXP to
transfer our web stream 3 miles to the Unuiversity computer center and its
been rck solid.
