Seeking HD cloning soft with guide.

I'm doing research but not finding any HD cloning software around.
There's some guides on youtube but I'm not trusting them much.

I found acronis, but I didn't find a trial that would let me clone.

Anyone's got any suggestions?

In 10 minutes, you downloaded it, installed it, figured out how it works, tried it...
and you got a fail?

OK...drives sizes and types? Source and target.
Was the current source drive working perfectly before?

Yes. I read that response and got on it as soon as I read it.

the drives are both SSD 250GB. The one I'm cloning from, I ran error checks, deleted everything, cleaned it up and it has about 30B of USED space.

one is CRUCIAL (SOURCE) and the other an EVO (TARGET)

The new HD has 0 used and 244GB to use.

Crucial didnt seem to work perfectly fine.

Well, you error seems to point to a read fail from the Crucial source drive.
Possibly try the Samsung Data Migration application.

But if that Crucial has issues, you may be out of luck.

Actually I solved it.
It's because when I installed the new drive I was going to leave as the new main drive, I switched their positions on this ASUS G74SX that has 2 drive ports.
the 2nd drive has a little cable that goes to it, but the main seems to go directly to mobo.

I think that's what the problem was.
