Sending audio from projector via bluetooth

Hi, I recently purchased a projector (CAIWEI Home Projector Wifi Android DVB-T 3800 Lumens Home Cinema LED LCD with HDMI Audio Output Support 1080p HD Full Color) which is ok but the speakers aren't quite up to what I would like to use it for. I am using it outside & would like to be watching it in the hot tub I also recently purchased. My ideal would be to connect some water proof/resistant Bluetooth speakers to the projector.

Can I just buy a Bluetooth transmitter, connect it to the audio on the projector, and then get some Bluetooth speakers? I usually play films through the HDMI port with a PS3 but also not sure if this will mess up the plan.

The audio outputs might only work with the component video audio input not with the HDMI Input. You can try it by connecting a powered speaker or audio system while using the HDMI input.
If it does work a BT transmitter will work connect to the audio output on the projector.
If it doesn't work then you will need an HDMI switch with audio extraction like this one
