Sending audio from projector via bluetooth

I'm trying to set up my projector (epson powerlite 750) so that it sends audio through bluetooth to my bluetooth speaker (bose sound link) I purchased a portable bluetooth transmitter (http/www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B004B8GF7Y?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00) and pluged it into the audio inputs on the projector, the sound is still coming out of the projector. I successfully paired the transmitter with the speaker and it works on other devices, so i know that its not faulty. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can do this, and if its even possible? An input is not an output. If you can connect the transmitter to your av source directly that will work.
If not then you will need to extract the audio from the HDMI connection with one of these:
http/www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=101&cp_id=10114&cs_id=1011412&p_id=10251&seq=1&format=2
and connect the transmitter to it.
