Sennheiser Game Zero 150 or 50 ohm?

Hi guys! i just bought those new Sennheiser Game Zero and i want to know, is it 50 ohm or 150. I read on some websites, some say its 50 ohm On the Game/G4me and some say its 150 ohm. I want to determine if mine is 50 ohm or 150 ohm

Do i need anything else, like a DAC or a AMP? because the sound is really mysterious, sometimes it sounds like its under water for music etc. For gaming its like the sound is behind a wall, when i play CSGO, also heard it need some hours before it can use its full potential. I also plugged it into my phone, ipad and it sounds the same :/
It says GAME ZERO and not G4ME ZERO, does it do any differrence?

You are right, different places show the 2 ohms rating. Have you still got the box? It should show it on there.
According to the Sennheiser website it is 50 ohms.

Maybe send them an email.

Looking around, it looks like the original was called the G4ME Zero and was 150 ohms, where the latest version called GAME Zero is 50 ohms.

both. the original model was 150ohm while the later models are 50ohm impedance. given that the currently listed products are "game zero" on the sennheiser website i'm pretty sure this is the new 50ohm while the older "g4me zero" is the 150ohm model.

how to know if you may need an amp? volume levels are low, sound is tinny or lacking bass. in such cases getting a soundcard (like the z) may be beneficial. while most onboard can handle them its not uncommon for a soundcard to be needed.

as for the underwater sound it could be that you have virtual surround enabled or some other effect? of course it could always be that you received a dud and it needs replacement.

Also! it doesn't say on the package, what OHM it was, but i does say, its compatible for; PC, MAC,PS4 and Mobile/Tablet. So i think its 50 OHM since its compatible with mobile etc. thanks guys!!
