Sennheiser HD 598 big jump over PC360?

Sound quality wise, is it worth my time to sell off my PC360 and pick up the HD598 (powered by Xonar DGX)? Mic isn't a big deal to me. In general, I'm just looking for an upgrade over my PC360. I feel I'm not getting the best positional audio/clarity I want.

There are some users that don't like the "open" aspect of the HD5xx series. They don't block background noise as much as some people would like. I like that about them because then I am not as isolated from the "real" world. I have three pairs of HD5xx headphones and wouldn't buy anything else.

I think I saw somewhere that one would want an open back for a larger soundstage and better positional sound. I thoroughly enjoy my PC360s and have had them for two years, but I want an upgrade for under $250. Any suggestions?

Also planning on purchasing the Fiio E10k amp/dac.
