Hi,

Not sure if I should post this here or the network forum page, but I'm wondering is it good practice to have smart home devices on another network/wifi separate to my main network/WiFi.

I have a TP-Link router which apparently can handle up to "60 devices" there is only 2 people in the property excluding Mobile phones(cell phones) & Android tablet, server and personal PCs there is roughly 20 smart home devices connected to the WiFi.

I have never really noticed and issue with speed when everything is connected.

Not sure what else to put, what do you think?

If you consider the safety issue, suggest separating them. (y)
