Solved! Serious YouTube Stuttering/Freezing in Videos

Recently, after I downloaded the Nvidia 382.53 driver, YouTube videos have been freezing at points, only to resume after several seconds, while the audio is unfazed.

roll back your driver and see if that fixes it...
if not try opera browser and use its inbuilt vpn

use ddu, remove the driver, then download a older driver or see if a new one released by nvidia fixes the issue

I rolled back the driver to the last driver that I did not experience problems on, and it's still occurring. is this a YouTube or browser problem?

or an isp problem. like i said try a browser with a vpn. if it smooths out while the vpn is active then your isp may be throttling youtube.

Opera doesn't work, in fact it may even be worse on Opera, not sure.
So I'll try to contact my ISP to see if they have problems with YouTube.
