Service providers for lg gossip

Is Fido the only company that has launched the LG Gossip? I live in a rural area outside of Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada, and am not sure if Fido will provide adequate reception.

It may be possible to use the phone on another GSM service provider. But you would have to call that provider and ask if they allow the phone on their network.
