Set up password

I've just bought a Mac Book Pro 15, Touch Bar and when I opened it for the first time I used the ID and the password that I use with my iMac. When I come to set up user (Password), it doesn't accept the password that I was talking about (that for my iMac). Do you think you could help me?

Make sure you are entering all of the username/password characters correctly. With a new system, it is easy to enter the wrong keys until more familiar with new layout.

As this is a new system, go to an Apple Store and visit the Genius Bar for assistance, if available in your area.
