Hi guys,
I tried to update the software on the above television using the 'Network Upgrade' option of the settings menu after inserting a USB dongle. The download happened OK but then straight after (didn't see any upgrade notifications on the screen) the set switched off never to come back on again. The Power light just flashes in a heartbeat rhythmic tempo from red to white with it staying longer on red than white.

Then if I replace the USB drive and power cycle the TV this is the pattern of the led:

I've searched high and low online for a resolution to this and I can't seem to find one.
I'm guessing the firmware has taken a bad update or become corrupted and have deemed the set ready for the bin and ordered a new one. But thought I would ask on here to see if it can be salvaged.
