Our Sharp Aquos LC-55UB30U was working fine until the board got fried. Had both internal boards replaced under warranty. A few weeks ago the TV got stuck on the logo screen but after a reset started working periodically. Called the repair guy again to check on it and here replaced the boards again. He found that the TV would turn on with out any issues if we unplugged the HDMI cables to the Fire TV (not stick) before turning on. If it is not unplugged then the TV will completely lock on the logo screen and no controls work. Thanks had to be unplugged to continue working.

Called Amazon. Worked though other solutions and placed on a separate TV. Nothing seems to be impacted on the other TV. Amazon sent a new unit. It also hands the TV. The TV will run Amazon fire TV if plugged in after TV is turned on and loaded past the logo screen.

Seems like TV is trying to boot up from Amazon Fire TV but never had a problem in a year and half.

Any suggestions?

Solution
The TV isn't trying to boot from something connected to HDMI but it doesn't like something that it detects when turning on.
Did you try the Fire TV on another TV?
This will tell you if there is something about the Fire TV that's wrong.
Did you try a different HDMI Input on the TV?
Did you try a different HDMI cable?
I don't think any of these will help but it's worth a try.
A pragmatic solution is to use an external HDMI input selector so you can turn the TV on and then select the Fire TV.on the selector.
