Sharp TV to Samsung sounder to Direct TV HELP!

I have a Sharp Aquas TV (model LC-46D62U), a new Direct TV box (model C41W-100) and a Samsung sounder (model HW-F450). I have an optical cable from TV to sound bar, and a HDMI from Direct TV box to TV and get no sound from sound bar. How do I hook these up?? Thank you!
