Question Should I buy a refurbished workstation/gaming laptop now?

I am thinking of buying a powerful laptop for work, but I am in a tight budget. Therefore I am thinking of getting a refurbished workstation like Dell precision. Can anyone suggest me whether it is right time to buy the laptop? Should I wait couple more month? What are the factors I should consider (I require high thread count and powerful individual core.) How old should I opt for? Will there be future issues? Please suggest.

If you are buying a used system there is no right or wrong time to get one, if you need one get one. How old of a system you get depends on your budget. If there are future issues no way to tell since each system will be different.
