Question should I get a audio interface or a DAC to plug into my studio monitors?

I have some presonus eris e8s and need to know will a scarlet solo be okay to use with these to still have good quality audio or should I get a DAC?

If you need it just for playback get a DAC.

I would suggest you go for the scarlet solo. You will get amazing sound and some features you might need in the future.
