i got an offer from a friend if i would like to buy his msi gt663 laptop, since he is leaving the country he wants to sell it and buy a macbook, his laptop is 2 weeks old and these are the general specs:

its literally untouched, with the plastic covering too, and it costs round about $1300 (USD) with a two year international warranty that is unused with a logitech gamepad, bag and stuff, but my main concern is the laptop, if you guys can help out, because im gonna be using up my savings on this, want it to be worth it, (for the record my current laptop is falling apart, hence the need to buy another laptop)

Hello max1342;

That laptop might be two weeks old but it is a 2010 model.
All the current MSI models have the 2nd Gen Core i CPUs and I think MSI is now shipping the GTX 560 GPUs.

Google Shopping turned up NO hits on the MSI GT663 which is highly unusual.
Nothing on Amazon or Ebay either. Most unusual.
I don't know what to make of that, especially as he bought his only 2 weeks ago.

Where did he get his laptop and what, if any, are the issues if he wanted to return it for a refund?

he is ditching it because he is getting too addicted to gaming, kinda dont understand why he bought it, the plastic is on it too, and the thing here is that people want to buy it off him for $1000 since he opened it, and he bought it in indonesia, and to buy a brand new one here is round about $2200
