Question Should I install antivirus software

I currently have Comodo antivirus suit installed, but it has been using up to 90% of my CPU so I started to look at alternate means to keep my PC protected. I have stumbled across an article from Leo LePort, as well as others who suggest that third party anti-virus software is no longer viable. These articles suggest that if you have Windows 10 and are using Defender, then you are protected.

I have been using Kaspersky for my new PC. Though it's a paid one but overall a good antivirus. I like this one to use.

You can try Avira, Avast, AVG free applications. Check how they load your CPU.
In my opinion, free antiviruses work better than standard Defender.

Thanks for your inputs.. I still have 2 years with Comodo. I have a friend who only uses free anti virus software, but doesn't run it every day. He runs it once a week to check for viruses.
