sim card jams

trying to reinstall sd card but it jams and will not go all the way in

Is this a SIM card or an SD card? You listed it as both.

Are you sure you are putting it in the right slot? They are not interchangeable. Also did you make sure there is nothing in the slot, or nothing bent in it?
