I have been given a task to find a laptop which is suitable for Sims 4 and the usual Microsoft Office programmes for Christmas.

I am looking at something below £300 preferebly, with SIMS 4 requirements being available at http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/the-sims-4/12305/?p=r

Could anybody please tell me if the following laptops will be play it smoothly? And if not, which laptop(s) would be suitable?

2 - Asus X401A Intel Celeron 1.6 Ghz 4GB 320GB 14.1 Inch Laptop Windows 7

3 - Windows 7 Lenovo Thinkpad T410 Laptop Core i5 FAST 14.1"

4 - Windows 7 Lenovo T410 Laptop Core i5 2.4Ghz 4Gb 320Gb

You will not find a laptop priced at that price range.

I recommend that you save up.

The Sims games, believe it or not, does require a gaming computer; the requirements for the game is for the base game alone. It does not include the expansions, game packs, stuff packs, and huge patches.

Thanks for this. The laptop only really needs the base game and patches which install automatically, as the lad who will play this game will not install any expansions or packs.

What sort of laptop would I have to purchase for something which could run it smoothly? Just so I know what I'm looking for as I can spend more, if I can't find anything on the cheap.
