So we should be able to make video calls just like the Jetsons did! Cool, but if my next TV has a camera, I'm removing it (don't need a camera on every device).

Its good.. how convergence in Electronics is making life easy. You can use a mobile phone to connect to email. and use a cell network to access internet etc etc.. Im sure one day, though there will be discrete devices but there will be all in ones in every category..

This is something new??? You can do the same thing with an HTPC. I built 3 high powered pc months ago at work, have it connected to a 52" Sharp Aqous 1080p 120hz TV via HDMI cable, with the top of the line logitec webcam and a Good Mic. I built 3 and we use skype to video conference between 3 of our locations. Plus we can still use it for other purposes. So this just seems like a waste of money if all you can really do is skype with it.
Plus with an HTPC you are not stuck to just one brand of TV.
