Hello,
I have a live recording that lasts one hour long. I am wanting to be able to cut the one audio file into tracks so that when played back using a cd player who ever is listening can skip to the middle of the person talking using like track 1 track 2 etc. Can anyone help me? I have cool edit pro but can't figure out how to do it

If you are really stuck, Audacity (free download) will do it. You can edit out chat and just save each song as a separate wav, deleting it from the original once saved. It's boringly slow but works. Then burn a CD from the wavs using any burner program (including Windows Media Player, ugh!).
