slove ''no bootable device'' how to do ?

mine laptop is toshiba l850 and now cant acess to run in window 8 .
it show no bootable device and i tried holding 0(zero) while it opening but it still show check media fail and no bootabe device . it still can restore to factory setting ? how ? or have any suggestion to fix it by self ?

go into bios and check the boot sequence.the hdd/ssd should be place 1st.

i already set hdd to be the first .
but the problem still there

try taking out the hdd and put it in again.or try a different hdd.
