Solved! Slow wireless conection

Hello,
we have att internet with a wireless router conected to it. My step son uses the wireless for his xbox and complains of the lag when we're using our laptop to download movies. Can i add a 2nd internet provider to the house and connect a router to it?

You could... but the question is... why?

is ATT broadband(cable)? If you are downloading movies it will slow any network down(except for FIOS)... him using wireless on the xbox isn't ideal... Your main problem is you don't have enough bandwidth to handle both at the same time.

You could also throttle down the DL speed to your PC, giving most of the bandwidth to the xbox...
