smart tv hookup

can i still get hd picture quality without the hdmi cable connected. we ant to move the tv to a warmer place in the house but dont have the cable wire long enough. if I use the smart tv properties will i still get hd picture quality

The HDMI hookup is for external sources and has nothing to do with using the "smart" apps in the TV. So long as your internet and wifi are good enough you will get HD on any sources that are HD.
