I needed a large bunch of pictures scanned for the big presentation which was due the next day. As the photographs are usually stored on my smartphone, I got them scanned right away. So far so good. But wait. Because what followed after this, looked like a massive blow to my career ambitions. None of the pictures had come out right. I discovered that the problem occurred since the phone was not properly placed on the scanner. But what would I do then? The presentation was big, and so were my stakes.

I had to immediately run to a cyber café for a fresh round of scan. It took me ages until I got everything sorted. The whole process cost me time and proved to be extremely messy. Then one of my friends told me about Standscan.
