Smartphone Vortex and Router Acceptance

My new Smartphone Vortex cannot get use of my wireless router at home due to WEP security. How do I get the router to let it in?

Are you prompted for a password when you try to connect? If not, check out the wifi/connection options, as there should be a menu where you can access and input the password.
