ahhhhh come on i am sure activision will give it to the team that does guitar hero and it will turn out to be the best game ever :)

and for the serious people this is what is called a joke. its sad i have to mention this

One of two things will happen. Either Activision will fill Infinity Ward vacancies with Treyarch leads or simply hand off MW3 to Treyarch with as-needed assistance from remaining IW staff (either would be a bitch slap). One studio Activision thought they had under their thumb and the other they really do have under their thumb. One thing's certain; more CoD to come though it'll never be up to the level a free and clear Infinity Ward could have done.

Anyone thinking there's a possibility that Activision won't cash in on MW3 remember this; Us in the know are a small (perhaps passionate) fraction compared to the many kids who thoughtlessly go from one game to the next with a half-assed effort to homework and the adult gamer to busy with adult life and the many other demographics that won't make the time to read up on these events or even care. Activision simply will cash in on this truth some how. I'm not particularly moved by this particular episode but I like watching the events unfold ans see its impact on the industry and quality of games (or in 3D Realms case - lack of game). I just wanted to put out a dispassionate view.

I for one am glad that IW is dead. After the slap in the face to PC users that was MW2, hopefully this will prevent any other game companies from trying the same tricks that IW did. I am still worried that other game companies may decide to get rid of dedicated servers and user mods.
