Software can wipe out the harddrive (unrecoverable)

Recently I am trying sell my computer
Before I give it to someone else, I would like
to format everything on my harddrive, since it is
possible people can use recovery software to snoop
around.

Is there any good shareware can wipe out Harddrive
and make it unrecoverable.

I know wipedrive, but it is not free.
