My acer widows laptop screen turns white forever ..

Need better info, what happens exactly when you turn on the computer? Is it a blank screen the whole time? Does it go through BIOS then go to Windows then turns white? Nothing at all on the screen? This happened after anything was changed/installed/damaged or just out of no-where? What is the model of the laptop?
