hello just bought a acer notebook and i have tried to use my password but it won"t open i have tried everything even the answer to my question and it still says wrong answer so how do i reset the password so that i may start to enjoy my notebook.

have you tried to type the password with Caps Lock turned on and with Caps Lock turned off?

if you are using the number pad while typing in the password, try it with the Num Lock turned on and with the Num Lock turned off.

last resort would be reinstall Windows
