I recently had to take my Lenovo e520 laptop apart to install a new DC-in Lan Board card. Anyways I noticed a couple days later that some of the keys on my laptop were not working. I don't know if some of the hardware got messed up while i was installing the new board or what.

The keys that are not working are: The alt key, windows key, the right arrow key and the up arrow key.

Any help would be appreciated. If I plug in a usb keyboard the keys will function on the usb keyboard but not on the laptop keyboard.

Power off PC and check and make sure ribbon cable is inserted fully, and that it is free from damage.

Otherwise you might need to replace keyboard.
