I am about to get my new Sony 60SX955 and would like to know more about
connecting it to my SA HD8300PVR.
From pictures I saw of the back of the TV It comes with two HDMI
connections, One is only a HDMI plug and the other is an HDMI plug and a
stereo analog audio plug. What is the difference between the two and do
I use the first or the second to connect to my SA HD8300.
Thanks in advance for the information.

You can use either one to connect your SA HD8300 to your 955. The HDMI
inputs are the same. On my 955, I connect a Panasonic S97 DVD player to
input #8 via HDMI and an 8300 to input #7 via HDMI. Duplicate cables. For
audio, I run coax digital out of the DVD player into one receiver input and
optical digital out of the 8300 into another receiver input.
