So I just got a new Sony a7 III. When I opened the camera and took of the lens cap on the camera body, I noticed 4 plastic pieces that covered the sensor. I had never seen this on any past camera that I have used. I thought it was a tab that just covered the sensor and was supposed to pull it off before attaching the lens. When I went to pull it off, I immediately knew that it was supposed to be there and that I had messed up badly. I think it might be the camera shutter... How easily can this be fixed? Or do you think B&H or Sony will return the camera for a new one? Is there anything I can say to cover up my ignorance? I bought the camera from B&H. I can't really afford to drop another $2,000. Any advice would be much appreciated. And by the way, in the process of messing with the shutter, I completely removed the shutter pieces from the camera.
