Sony Android TV does not produce sound through Bluetooth Headphones or earphones

I have a Sony android led tv, Tried different bluetooth headphones but still unable to hear sound from wireless headphones Please help if any solution available

You are sure that the Bluetooth Headphones work with other devices - correct?

Overall seems to be a messy issue.

A fix, if there is one, may depend on your model number.

[Note: Will mention I did see a reference/comment that turning off the TV speakers was necessary to use headphones. Did not seem to be related to Bluetooth per se. Trying to read through the comment when some pop-up appeared and I could not get back to the link thereafter....???]
