Kinect and good VR glasses really need to come to PC. These console gimmicks are cool (who hasn't enjoyed a Wii Bowling game or a round of Wii Golf?), but they won't really take off until they're on a platform that everyone has--PC. Even mediocre PCs can still play a lot of games. A lot of people would be happy to play HL2 on a Pentium 4 with an 8800GT in good 3D VR glasses--the point being that really ANYONE could make use of it if it came to PC.

VR helmets are hardly new, and the nintendo DS had a movement tracking add-on. I'd prefer this to a tv as then i don't need to lose half my living room to the screen and can watch without disturbing others.

As for breaking your living room because you can't see where you are. You would just have augmented reality. Really companies are way behind the curve compared with what's currently possible.
