Question Sony DSC-WX300 ribbon cable replacement

Hi All,

I accidentally dropped by good old Sony CyberShot DSC-WX300 compact digital camera, causing minor damage inside.

Symptoms: none of the top buttons or wheels work. All the back panel buttons, including display, turn-on ( using display button) , lens movements, new video recording, and playback functions work.

I opened it up, and found that the ribbon cable going to the top buttons has suffered a tear in the middle. I closed it up, hoping to repair soon. Now, online, I find the replacement part commonly called the " Lens Back Main Flex Ribbon Cable". Is this the part that I need?

(Since I didn't fully disassemble the camera, I didn't notice if all the ribbon cables were a single piece or not)

Thanks Logan32T for your response (which I don't see here!). A cable is on the way, but it will only be around mid-September that I will have time to try it. I will post results here.
