Sony laptop touchscreen

I own a Sony touchscreen laptop and the screen is broken. since it 14” the parts are unavailable. Can I replace it with a normal 14” screen? Is it possible.?

I'm inclined to say yes, it should work. It's just a screen without the touch sensors so it should be fine with a touchpad or USB mouse.
