Solved! Sony Replacement Remote

The remote control that came with my Sony K80J TV was an RMF-TX520U (sorry about the numbers) It was not working properly and on the Sony Community I spelled out the problems. Sone said you need a "520P" and not a "520U".
What to do? I stopped by Best Buys and their response was predictable: it was in a sealed box so not our problem. So any suggestions on how to get Sony to send me the right remote?
Any advice would be appreciated.

That makes sense - - - - however it was Sony Support that told me I had the wrong one. ("Sorry fella -- you're on your own") I guess that steers me away from Sony products, when tech support burshes you away.

I assume you can't return the TV? then get the remote on amazon.
or paid the restocking fee and return it
