What about those fake Walkman?! I see a lot of those where I live (Thailand)

Funny, when manufacture tries to warn us, we think they're trying to make us buy their own product.

When they don't, and the thing goes boom, we blame them for not warning...

Oh well, I guess this is humanity!

This is coming from the company with numerous reports of combustible SONY laptops!

actually i have bought bootlegs/fake hardware

ive never had any problems with them becasue i only get them from places i trust and i look through the reviews to see if there are any problems with the products and if they blow up or destroy themselfs then they will stop selling hte product

Where do you go to read a review of an illegal counterfeit product? Also what places that sell illegal counterfeit products could be considered trustworthy? That statement is a total oxymoron.

[citation][nom]Avro Arrow[/nom]I think that the key phrase in this press release is:"The PlayStation manufacturer goes on to say that because Sony is not obligated to ensure support for such devices, so they could stop working or be rendered useless with a firmware update."THAT is the message that Sony wanted to really convey and they used the exploding controllers as a smokescreen to make them look all concerned when their primary concern is to threaten people. Sony can bite my ass, their PS3 is an absolute failure compared to the Xbox 360. (And I can't stand Microsoft) Namco had read the writing on the walls when it jumped ship from playstation to xbox with its incredible Ace Combat series.[/citation]
lol

Can you imagine playing Mission Impossible with one of these???
This device will self-destruct in 5....4....3....2....1....

Um, I thought it was real Sony peripherals that exploded?

Yet again we see Sony thinking it's still back in the day when "It's a Sony" was a good thing, they think they still have fanbois akin to apple buying their products... think again...

I think Sony just wants to be able to sell more controllers. But what do you expect when you charge what you do. Parents just want to buy the kids the cheap ones. BUT!! Anyone that have been a gamer for a long time knows that the added quality and sturdiness of a Sony or Nintendo controller is well worth the extra dough.

There could be something to this. Beat the end-stage boss, or get your hands blown off. It would make games more exciting to play.

Yeah, of all the companies to be warning about OTHER companies products exploding.

Sony, shut your mouth and fix your own problems first before trying to gab on other's issues.

[citation][nom]ciderax[/nom]They don't expload, sony was just holding them wrong...[/citation]
