Sony Scoffs at Nintendo's 3DS

Who plays moving his head while watching the screen of a DS? For real?

Besides, if Nintendo can do it right, we'll have 3D images on a portable console. What gives, Sony?

Sony needs to look at Nintendo's long history of success in the gaming industry compared to theirs. Last I saw Nintendo still has the most sold Wii units and is #1 in the portable gaming arena as well. In terms of gaming units Nintendo blew them away.
My money is on Nintendo they have a way of surviving the industry, innovating the industry and making money at the same time. They have out lasted Atari, Sega, Turbografix 16. Sony better watch their back.

I concur with Sony. There is no market for a Stereoscopic display hand-held. Screen too small, hardware not powerful enough, and you have to wear "special" glasses.

I never owned a ds, but I think i'd buy one just cuz of the 3d. It'd be cool playing mario or zelda in 3d.

I personally don't care much about the portable devices but if someone can make this hyped and "successful" it's Nintendo. Beside them only Apple could think of something as weird as that and still make profit 😉
