Sony SRS-D9 Power adapter need changing

Looking for replacement for Sony AC-E1826 Power adapter 18V 2.6A (which gone dead after recent thunderstorm) for my http/www.sony.co.in/product/srs-d9

looking at ebay/amazon all i could find is 18.5V 3.5A 65W..... which is not the 18v 2.6a. but is it ok to run sony sound system with such adapters??

That will work fine. Check the original one to see if it outputs AC or DC. Sometimes this is shown as 2 flat lines for DC and 1 squiggly line and 1 flat line for AC. The new one should output the same.
