Seriously? I read the same misleading article on Tom's Hardware Italia (on which quite often there are incorrect articles but I am used to it). This device has nothing to do with Oculus as specified by Sony itself. This is a "Virtual Home Theater" as you correctly said whilst the Oculus is meant to offer a complete (nearly) field of view to the user.Now at least you shouldn't write something that Sony itself has specified all along...a bit of let down on this occasion guys!

This is still in the field of HMDs. And I don't buy that they will keep away from the AR/VR segment with this tech.

Without knowing the FOV or the resolution this article is pretty weak. Come back when you have more details guys!
