Have you checked to see if the cables are properly secured? If they are, does this happen only on that particular show? There can be many issues, possibly your digital cable box.

The best and easiest way for you to handle this kind of situation is to contact the Sony after service center, but I don’t have any idea if they can respond to you urgently or get to the solution of your problem. Had it been, it was an LG TV, I would have said, contacting the LG a/s service center would have been the best way to get your problem solved because the LG a/s service center guys are really kind and swift in responding to questions like this. I guess they were trained for this.
