hello frnds,

I am looking forward to purchase sony vaio f15218,which has i5-3337u 1.80ghz upto turbo boost of 2.70ghz processor,4gb ram,500 gb hard disk & 1gb nvidia geforce gt 740m graphics....and yes plz inform me that 740m 1gb really exists or not because i couldnot find 1gb on net rather it shows 2gb nvidia......whats your opinion.....sud i go for this laptop or not? plz give ur suggestion?

- If yes then only look at laptops with GDDR5
Otherwise
- Yeah no problems, I run an Ultrabook myself when out and about.
(Not a Sony one, but it's lower spec than a 740m GDDR3 I'll say that much).

done dome research
GT 740m is enough for gaming like gta 4,dirt 3,NFS series etc.....
u actually can experience entertainments in high quality display and sound

i am using this laptop since four months and i felt that it heats very early and ya video quality is not so good as compare to asus or hp.....somehow u can say that hp comes in comparision with this model.....forget about dell.....coz dell laptops are just craps now-a-days......i see lines and boxes even when playing a hd video(both 720p or 1080p).....gaming is some how good.......sound problem will arise after 3-4 months or earlier jz a lil crack sound.....if u want some advice juz go for asus-k55vj.......its i5-3210m(2.5ghz-3.10gz),750gb hardisk,8 gb ram,2gb nvidia 635m.......which is better than 1gb 740m 64-bit but not better than 2gb 740m 64-bit..............it needs to be handled very carefully or it will carry scratches easily..........the price of asus is too low as compare to sony and way ahead thn sony.........i m using both laptops
