Sony Vaio stuck on Vaio boot screen

Hello everybody,

I have had my Sony Vaio SVT1312M1ES for about 6 months, and it has been in really light use. However, during my trip it got stuck on Windows 8 login screen, so I rebooted and now it is stuck on the Vaio boot screen.

I have rebooted countless times, tried removing the battery as well as entering bios (DEL) and safe-mode (F8). Nothing happens, no help of these.

Any advice, please?

Could be a faulty motherboard so contact Sony while it's still covered by their warranty.

The issue is that I bought it as used and there is no warranty 🙁. Luckily, I have insurance.

Could there be something with the SSD or HDD? Those or RAM would be easy (and cheap) to replace at least...
