sony vaio won't turn on less than 50% battery

i have sony vaio laptop when i turn it off with half battery charged or less and try to open it again it won't open battery light red and power light green when power button is pressed and some noise heard like fast clicking ; it turn on after i put it in the charger or sometimes remove the battery then charge it how to fix this and why it happening ? pls help ...

Hi,

Try using your laptop without the battery and just plug it in with it's AC adapter only observe if you'll have the same problem because if you don't that means your battery is failing already and a replacement is required.
