Sony Vegas/ PhotoShop Rendering

How much RAM should I get in my PC for Sony Vegas and Photoshop rendering? I have 8GB's now. But I don't think it's enough. What do you guys think?

If it's in the wrong section let me know. It's a 2 part question but it's about Sony Vegas and Photoshop. HELP!

Personally, I would recommend 16GB since you are running Sony Vegas. It should help with rendering times in both Vegas and Photoshop. I know you can change the amount of RAM used by Photoshop through a menu setting.
